Harish Ojha (b. 1984,Amethi) is a contemporary painter based in Lucknow. He holds a BFA in Painting and Mural from the University of Allahabad. His work reflects a unique synthesis of traditional and contemporary forms, blending representational and abstract imagery with culturally rich motifs.
Raised in rural India, Harish draws inspiration from indigenous wooden toys of bright colors, which frequently appear in his paintings. By incorporating these folk elements into a modern idiom, he creates a visual language that revives traditional imagery while exploring contemporary aesthetics.
