Born in 1967. Graduated from the Government College of Art and Crafts, Guwahati, and received a Post Diploma in Sculpture at M.S. University, Vadodara, Gujarat. Recipient of a French Government grant to study at École Superieure Des Beaux-Arts, France. He has exhibited widely in India and abroad including shows at École Superieure Des Beaux Arts, France, the Nehru Centre, London, the Kelvin Grove Art Gallery and the Glasgow Museum. Recipient of several awards, including a Junior Fellowship from the Government of India, the Harmony Excellence Award for the best Emerging Artist, and the Charles Wallace Trust Fellowship. His works are in several private and public collections.
